Jill Saunders
Jill Saunders is the driving force in bringing the current level of unparalleled customer service to Pimlico. "We have to be able to offer our customers and design clients excellent service," Jill says. "With the Internet and all the direct mail catalogs available, there's a lot of competitive shopping going on. It's important we keep our price points fair, and supply what web-sites and bigger stores can't – hands-on, personalized assistance and thorough follow-up," she adds.
Jill graduated from Fordham University with a bachelor of arts degree in sociology. After a brief stint as a clerk in the State's Attorney office in Stamford, Connecticut, Jill decided that pursuing a career in law was not for her. She earned a master's degree in elementary education from the University of Bridgeport and began teaching at West School in New Canaan.
Jill also found time to work part-time at Pimlico. Inspired by the eclectic selection and unusual offerings found at this jewel of a home furnishings boutique, she came on board as co-owner in 2006. Jill dedicated herself to providing Pimlico clients the kind of customer service seldom found any more. Her passion is working with people, ensuring they receive the highest possible attention, and finding creative solutions to their challenges.
